"We used to live here, and we ate at the Mean Pig often. We were visiting and couldn't miss it. My wife and I always get the Smoked Frito Pie with medium sauce and everything on top. I meant to take a picture right away, but it was so good I couldn't get out my camera until we were both halfway done with our meals. The owner is genuinely friendly and always recognizes us when we come in. Sadly we might not get back this way for awhile, but we took a quart of medium sauce with us!"
"Being from Minnesota this was the first BBQ place I've had in the "South". I've tried a lot of BBQ places in the 6 years I've lived here and The Mean Pig is by far the best BBQ restaurant hands down. I have personally been blessed to meet the owner of this place and I can tell you he is one hard working man! He puts all the love he's got into this food, his workers, family and friends. And on top of that he's there for his customers. He welcomes everyone with this big smile and a hug. And this is why I will continue to be a #1 fan of this restaurant.

Their sauces are great,( won't try the "Shut up Sauce ,'cause I still want to breathe!),and the service and friendly atmosphere is tops!"
